Our First Trick-or-Treat

Oh what a wonderful experience our first Trick-or-Treating was! The joy it brings to my heart to see my little ones growing with such manners and fun. The sadness of them growing up too; it makes me realize how short a time they are this little. I want to bottle this time up and shelf it to experience again and again. However, God has lead us to this place to go forth and raise his children to be fine young men in this world.

We went to a friend's home, had pizza with the boys' friends, got dressed in their costumes and then went off to gather some candy! The pictures, while cute, were not the best as once you tell these boys there's candy the waiting is all over and they're gone.

Pictures in order:
  • the boys taking pictures
  • ok now Matt's had enough so he's getting ready to get down
  • Matt's done with pictures so he's off and Will is getting ready to get down
  • the boys at their first house learning how to
  • Sandra and David (he was just a tad little to get the candy but he had fun any way)

Now all we hear about is candy, candy and candy. You'd think that we feed it to them all the time.

I'm going to bed this day a happy mother knowing that she has given her children another experience which will teach them and let them be children.
